Disney just announced a slew of movies set for a theatrical 3D re-release, similar to the recent presentation of The Lion King. Mark your calendars for the following titles:

Beauty and the Beast: January 13, 2012

Finding Nemo: September 14, 2012

Monsters, Inc: January 18, 2012

The Little Mermaid: September 13, 2013

While I’m happy B+tB is getting it’s release FINALLY!  I knew this was going to happen and I’m far from excited for it.  I wasn’t impressed with the 3D release of Lion King.  I felt adding the element was pointless and half the time I was focusing on the grass at the forefront of the scene rather than the lions.  I’d rather they just did 2D remastered releases (and yes I’m aware those are available too but that’s not the point)
Mermaid’s probably the only one I’ll go see and that’s just cause it’s my favorite (and one of the few I’ll willingly shell out $20 for).  Maybe Monsters
